Utopia dove deep into the DNA of legends like the Sola Sound Tone Bender MK2 and MK3 and the Marshall Supa Fuzz to create not a clone, but an evolution: the sound of history and classic records, reimagined for the modern musician.


The secret of the SHINZO³² lies in its hybrid heart. It uses a genuine Germanium transistor in the saturation stage to deliver that unmistakable warmth, compression, and texture that only Germanium can offer. At the input, an arrangement of Silicon transistors ensures stability, consistency, and a perfect response to your playing dynamics, simulating the soul of Germanium transistors but without the temperature instability. The result? Authentic vintage tone with the reliability you need on stage and in the studio.


A sonic time machine at your command: the true power of the SHINZO³² lies in its versatility. The controls aren't just parameters, they are portals to different eras of fuzz:

  • BIAS - The Soul of the Machine: This is no simple tweak. It’s a control that travels through decades of textures. Roll it to the left for an open, articulate sound with incredible dynamics, almost like a wild overdrive. In the center, you’ll find the classic Tone Bender tones—cutting, biting, and rich in sustain. Crank it all the way to the right and unleash controlled chaos: a gated, velcro-like fuzz, perfect for broken riffs and modern textures.

  • ATTACK & EQ - Sculpting Your Tone: We overhauled the ATTACK control to offer a much wider and more articulate gain range that cleans up and responds perfectly to your guitar's volume knob. Add to that a full 3-band EQ section (Bass, Mids, and Treble) that interacts beautifully with the pedal's gain structure, and you have total control to cut through the mix or build gigantic walls of sound.


Built for the Road, all this sonic versatility is housed in a lightweight, robust, and compact aluminum enclosure designed to save space and weight on your pedalboard. It is fully compatible with standard power supplies (9V DC, center-negative), so you can just plug in and play without any worries.
