The Fuzz Face is an icon that has crossed decades defining the guitar fuzz sound, and the SCI-FUZZ is our take on it—a journey that begins in the classic 60s sounds and opens the doors to new sonic territories.


The heart of the SCI-FUZZ beats with an hybrid tone engine, a sonic architecture designed to deliver the best of both worlds. The unmistakable warmth and dynamics of a Germanium transistor at the core of the circuit ensure that the classic Fuzz Face soul is present in every note. Working in tandem, a Silicon transistor provides the stability and response of a precision instrument. The result is the creamy, organic tone you love, with the consistency needed for any situation, whether on stage or in the studio.


While the classic circuit has a limited range, the SCI-FUZZ offers an arsenal of possibilities with its expanded controls:

  • GAIN - The Heart of the Fuzz: We completely rethought the gain control. At its lowest settings, the SCI-FUZZ behaves like an articulate and bright booster, perfect for pushing your amp. As you turn it up, it morphs into an overdrive, pushes into the creamy, singing fuzz we all know, and finally reaches a territory of dense saturation with near-infinite sustain.

  • Equalization (BASS/MIDS/TREBLE): The biggest flaw of the classic Fuzz Face has been solved. With a 3-band EQ, you have total command over your frequencies. Want a fatter, louder, and more present sound? Bump up the mids. Need more body? Turn up the bass knob. Want to cut through for a solo? Push the treble. Your fuzz will never get lost in the mix again.

  • BIAS - The Texture Frontier: The SCI-FUZZ’s BIAS control is a gateway to the experimental side of tone. From a "hotter" setup—think Cesar Dias style—through the expected classic warm setting, you can travel into "starved" and sputtering sounds that simulate a dying battery, or reach aggressive, totally unique gated textures. It’s your secret weapon for creating riffs and tones full of attitude.


Featuring a beautiful meticulous point-to-point handwired construction, the SCI-FUZZ combines a robust build and compact footprint with compatibility for standard 9V (center-negative) power supplies, making it ready to be the centerpiece of your pedalboard.
